Viruses:

1. Viruses do have protein coverings.
2. Viruses are small obligate intracellular parasites with an RNA or DNA genome encased in a virus-coded protein sheath.
3. A symmetric protein capsid contains the viral DNA, as well as any associated basic proteins.
