Solution

Anti- Diuretic Hormone (ADH):

  1. Neurohypophysis secretes anti -diuretic hormone.
  2. By constriction of smooth muscles of blood vessels, it causes vasoconstriction.
  3. Thus, ADH acts on blood vessels and kidneys too to increase blood pressure.
  4. It increases water reabsorption from DCT and prevents diuresis.
