The correct option is B 6×1020
Given mass of aluminium oxide = 0.051 g
molar mass of Al2O3 = 102
so, number of moles of Al2O3 = 0.051102 = 0.0005 moles
we have
Al2O32Al3+
1 mole of Al2O3 gives 2 moles of Al3+ ions,
so 0.0005 moles of Al2O3 gives Al3+ ions = 0.0005×2=0.001moles

1 mole of Al3+ ions have number of Al3+ ions = 6.023×1023

so, 0.001 moles of Al3+ ions contains number of Al3+ ions = 6.023×1023×0.001=6×1020ions
