Given,

Velocity of object (in cm/s),
vo=102sin 45^i102cos 45 ^j=10^i10^j

Velocity of mirror (in cm/s)
vm=10sin 37^i+10cos 37 ^j=6^i+8^j

In the direction normal to the mirror,

|Relative velocity of image with respect to mirror| = |Relative velocity of object with respect to mirror|

(i.e) vixvmx=(voxvmx)

vix=2vmxvox

From the data given in the question,

vmx=6^i cm/s , vox=10^i cm/s

vix=2×6^i10^i=2^i cm/s

In the direction parallel to the surface of the mirror,

Along Y direction,
voy=viy

viy=10^j cm/s

Therefore, velocity of image v=vix+viy

v=(2^i10^j) cm/s
