Find the volume of strength of H2O2 solutions prepared by mixing of 250 mL of 3 N H2O2 and 750 mL of 1 N H2O2 solution :-

The correct option is B 8.4 V
Normality of total solution is given by :

N1V1+N2V2=Nf(V1+V2)

(250×3)+(750×1)=Nf(250+750)

750+750=Nf(1000)

Nf=15001000 = 1.5

Volume strength of H2O2=11.2×M

In terms of normality,N=M×n

n factor for H2O2 is 2

N=M×2 and M=N2

Volume strength =11.2×N2 = 5.6N= 5.6×Normality

Volume strength of H2O2 = 5.6×1.5 = 8.4V

Hence, option B is correct .
