We know that the slope of the displacement time graph represents velocity. Here displacement-time graph is a straight line with constant slope. Hence, velocity is constant here. Average velocity = total displacement total time = final position-initial position total time =20−04−0=5ms−1
Hence, average velocity of the car is 5ms−1.
