The correct option is A 28 kg
64 g CaC2 contains 24 g carbon.
All the carbon from calcium carbide is present in polyethylene.
Polyethene is (CH2)n, i.e., 14 gram of polythene contains 12 gram of carbon. Hence, 24 gram carbon will be contained in 1412×24=28 g of polyethene.
Therefore, 64 g CaC2 will produce 28 g polythene.
Hence, 64 kg CaC2 will produce 28 kg polythene.
