1. Water helps in regulating the temperature of the body of the animals and humans by the loss of excessive heat in the form of sweat.
2. When the body becomes too heated the sweat gland secretes sweat which absorbs heat from the body making the body cool.
3. By this mechanism, our body gets cooled with the help of sweating.
