Solution

(a) One should drink boiled water during epidemics as the chances of water contamination are high during epidemics. Boiling the water destroys most of the disease-causing microbes present in it and hence makes it safe for drinking.

(b) Communicable diseases are caused by germs and they spread from one person to another through contact, nasal discharge etc. So people suffering from communicable diseases should avoid going to public places as they may spread infection to other healthy persons.

(c) Rabies virus enters the body of a person through the saliva of rabid animal. When the rabid dog bites a person, the wound should be flushed clean with soap and clean water to lower the number of viruses entering the body.
