Give the special functional activity of iris of the eye.

Iris:

1. The pigmented part present in front of the ciliary body, suspensory ligament, and ling of the human eyeball is called the iris.
2. Iris contains two types of muscle- circular muscles and radial muscles.
3. At the center of the iris, a spherical opening is present, known as a pupil.

Function of iris :

1. Iris controls constriction and dilation of the pupil with the help of radial and circular muscles.
2. In such a way, it controls the amount of light entering the eyes.
