Give two examples of sublimates.

Some solid substances which are on heating directly change to vapours state without changing to a liquid state and similarly when we cool them they change to a solid state. These substances are called sublimates and the process is called sublimation. The process is explained as:

Iodine, benzoic acid, and camphor are the sublimates.
