Give two examples where a body possesses both, kinetic energy as well as potential energy.

When a body is thrown from the top at some height is halfway down to the ground then it possesses both as it has some height left to touch the ground, therefore, it has a potential energy but it is continuously moving, therefore, it possesses kinetic energy.

Similarly when a pendulum is a half way from its extreme position to its normal position it has both potential energy and kinetic energy.
