Ascariasis is caused by a round worm (Ascaris Lumbricoides). The eggs of Ascaris lumbricoides is found in soil contaminated by human feces. After entering into a human body Ascaris lumbricoides reproduce inside human intestine, again it can be spread by lack of proper sanitation facilities.
