Open in App
Solution

Finding the last term of the arithmetic progression:

The last term of an arithmetic progression can be found when the first term and sum of the arithmetic progression is given,

We know that the sum is given as:

S=n2(first term +last term )

Substituting the values of S, first term, and nth term, the last term can be obtained.

Hence, in this way we can find the last term of an arithmetic progression.
