Solution

Volume of cube $= (S i d e)^{3}$
Volume of ech small cube $= 20^{3} = 8000 c m^{3}$
$= 0.008 m^{3}$
Now, volume of the cubical box $= 2^{3} = 8 m^{3}$
$∴$ Number of small cubes, that can just be accommodated in the cubical box
$= \frac{V o l u m e o f c u b i c a l b o x}{V o l u m e o f s m a l l c u b e} = \frac{8}{0.008}$
$= 1000$
