Question

How should the object be placed to get the laterally inverted image?

Open in App
Solution

A convex lens produces both real and virtual images. If the object is placed beyond focus, the image will be real and laterally inverted. If the object is placed between focus and centre of curvature of the convex lens, the image will be virtual but not laterally inverted.
