Question

How to Calculate perimeter of the boxes

Open in App
Solution

  1. Figure out what a perimeter is. In 2 dimensions, it's the sum of the lengths of the sides.
  2. Determine the number of sides of a box. If it's a closed box, probably 12 sides: 4 at the top, 4 corner sides, 4 bottom sides/edges.
  3. Assuming the height of the box is the same, and the top and bottom are the same, the perimeter ends up being 4∗(length+height+width)4∗(length+height+width)which you can see because each edge is repeated 4 times
