Solution

(i)

GIVEN: HCF of two numbers 306 and 657 is 9.

TO FIND: L.C.M of number

We know that,

(ii) The smallest number divisible by both 306 and 657 is the LCM of 306 and 657.

306 = 2 × 3 × 3 × 17

657 = 3 × 3 × 73

Therefore, LCM of 306 and 657 is 2 × 3 × 3 × 17 × 73 = 22,338
