N2+H2NH3
Number of N atoms on the reactant side: 2
Number of N atoms on the product side: 1
On multiplying the product side with 2,
N2+H22NH3
Now, the number of H atoms on reactant side is : 2
Number of H atoms on product side is : 2×3=6
On multiplying the reactant side with 3,
N2+3H22NH3
Now, the number of N and H atoms on both sides are equal and the equation is balanced. Thus, x= 1, y=3, z=2
