If the sum of angles is 180°, then the pair of angles are called supplementary angles.

(i) 72° and 108°, as 72° + 108° = 180°, the pair of 72 and 108 are supplementary angles.

(ii) 37° and 53°, as 37° + 53° = 90°, the pair of 37° and 53° are complementary angles.
