Open in App
Solution

Given:
Mole of sodium chloride (n) = 0.2 [1 Marks]

Solution:
Molecular mass of sodium chloride (M) = 23 + 35.5 = 58.5 g/mol [1 Marks]

Number of moles (n) =mM
0.2 = x58.5x = 11.7 g

Hence, 11.7g of sodium chloride is required to obtain 0.2 moles of NaCl.
