Solution

The correct option is A The body is in equilibrium.
Body will be in equilibrium if Fnet=0,τnet=0
Net force on body, F=F1+F2
F=2^i+3^j+4^k+(2^i3^j4^k)
F=0

Torque due to F1 force,
τ1=r1×F1
where r1=3^i+3^j+4^k
τ1=∣ ∣ ∣^i^j^k334234∣ ∣ ∣
=^i(1212)^j(128)+^k(96)
τ1=4^j+3^k

Torque due to F2 force
τ2=r2×F2
where r2=^i
τ2=∣ ∣ ∣^i^j^k100234∣ ∣ ∣
=^i(0)^j(4)+^k(3)
τ2=4^j3^k

Net torque on body τ=τ1+τ2
τ=4^j+3^k+4^j3^k=0

Net force = 0, Net torque = 0. Hence body is in equilibrium.
