Why does too much auxin kill a plant?

Auxin:

1. Auxin is a growth hormone that promotes cell growth and elongation of plants.
2. But sometimes, its overproduction causes toxicity which kills the plants.
3. The large concentration of auxin stimulates the ethylene.
4. This ethylene inhibits the root and shoot elongation and gradually kills the whole plant.
