Imagine you are walking towards a concave mirror from far away, explain the variations you observe in your image as you reach the pole.

When you are far away, the object is at infinity. The concave mirror forms a pointed image of you at the focus.
As you move closer to center of curvature (C), the size of the image keep increasing and it moves towards C from focus (F).
When you are at C, the image is just below you, inverted, and as the same height as of you.
As you keep moving towards F, the image moves away from C towards infinity. The image will be inverted, and enlarged behind you.
When you are at F, the image will be far away from the mirror i.e. it is at infinity and highly magnified.
As you keep moving towards the mirror from F to pole (P), you can see an image of yourself in the mirror, magnified and erect.
