Given, V=50 kV ; λy=5900 ˚A=5.9×107 m

Now, the wavelength of the light used in the electron-microscope is,

λe=h2meV=6.6×10342×(9×1031)×(1.6×1019)×(50×103)

=6.6×103412.06×10230.55×1011 m (or)

5.5×1012 m

λy=590 nm=5.9×107 m
