The correct option is A 10 N
Let the tension at the mid-point B of the rope be TB
So, the acceleration of the system is given by,


From the above FBD we have,
TB=(5+1.5) a
13=6.5 a (As given TB=13 N)
a=2 m/s2

The pulling force for the 5 Kg mass will be the tension in the rope at point A
So, let the tension be TA


From the FBD of 5 kg body we have,
TA=Mass×acceleration=5×2
=10 N
Thus, the pulling force for 5 Kg mass is 10 N
