Solution

The correct option is B 4.14 kg
Chemical reaction involved is:

Fe3O4+4CO3Fe+4CO2

Molar mass of Fe=56 g

Molar mass of Fe3O4=3×56+4×16=232 g

According to the balanced reaction 3 mol (3×56=168 g) of Fe is obtained by 1 mol (232 g) of Fe3O4

3 kg=3000 g Fe will obtained from 232168×3000=4142.8 g Fe3O4 or 4.142 kg Fe3O4

Hence, option B is correct.
