3. Rise in water levels in rivers and seas

4. Flooding

5. Speeding up of water cycle and more precipitation leading to flooding

6. Skin diseases due to excessive heat on the surface of the Earth.

Control measures for preventing global warming:

(i) Reducing the use of fossil fuels

(ii) Use of bio-fuels

(iii) Improving energy efficiency

(iv) Use of a renewable source of energy such as CNG etc.

(v) Reforestation.

(vi) Recycling of materials.
