The MERLIN Project is part of the Cluster of European Air Quality Research (CLEAR). MERLIN ('M'ulti-Pollutant Multi-Effect Modeling of 'E'uropean Ai'R' Pollution Contro'L' Strategies - an 'IN'tegrated approach). MERLIN is a cost-benefit-analysis computer-based model system that can be used to determine the bundle of air pollution control measures that is capable of achieving compliance with air quality limit and target values (for emission, concentrations and deposition) for specific pollutants at least-costs.
