why do bee keepers keep the bee hives in d crop feild during flowering period?

Beekeepers keep the beehives in crop field during flowering period so that the bees can pollinate the flowers to obtain crops. More over the bees can easily collect huge amount of nectar from flowers without much searching. These nectars are collected as honey afterwards.
