Question

Solution

Distance travelled towards east is represented with a positive integer so it should be 20km.

As west is opposite to east so distance in the direction of west will be represented by negative integer so distance along west is 30km.

The final position will be net displacement =20+(30)=10km, as it is negative so it shows that finally, Rita is in the west to its initial position.
