The correct option is C Whorled phyllotaxy – Guava
Phyllotaxy refers to the arrangement of leaves on the stem or its branches.
In whorled type of phyllotaxy, 3 or more than 3 leaves are borne on a single node in a whorled manner. e.g., Nerium, Alstonia, etc.
In opposite phyllotaxy, a pair of leaves arise at each node and lie opposite to each other as in Calotropis and guava plants.
In alternate type of phyllotaxy, a single leaf arises at each node in alternate manner, as in china rose, mustard and sunflower plants.
Leaves of monocot plants show parallel venation and leaves of dicot plants show reticulate venation. However, there are exceptions in monocots like Smilax. They show reticulate venation.
