Show that the points A(0, 7, 10), B(-1, 6, 6) and C(-4, 9,6) form an isosceles right-angled triangle.

We have

AB=(10)2+(67)2+(610)2=18=32

BC=(4+1)2+(96)2+(66)2=18=32

and AC=(40)2+(97)2+(67)2=36=6.

Clearly, AB=BC and AB2+BC2=(18+18)=36=AC2

Hence, triangle ABC is an isosceles right-angled triangle.
