Sleeping sickness is caused by protozoan

Sleeping sickness:

1. Sleeping sickness is a disease caused by infection with Trypanosoma, a protozoan of flagellates.
2. It is caused by two types of parasites, Trypanosoma bursei rodeciense and Trypanosoma brusei gambience.
3. Tsetse fly spreads the infection. If bitten by an infected fly, the infection spreads throughout the blood.
