The correct option is A $x = \frac{261}{49}, y = \frac{9}{49}$
Given,
$2 x - 9 y = 9 . . . (1) 5 x + 2 y = 27 . . . (2)$

Multiplying (1) by 5 and (2) by 2, we get
$10 x - 45 y = 45 . . . (3)$
$10 x + 4 y = 54 . . . (4)$
$(4) - (3) ⟹ 49 y = 9 ⟹ y = \frac{9}{49}$

Now,
$From equation (1)$

$x = \frac{9 + 9 y}{2} = \frac{9 + 9 (\frac{9}{49})}{2} = \frac{261}{49}$

$∴ x = \frac{261}{49}, y = \frac{9}{49}$
