Scurvy is vitamin C i.e., ascorbic acid deficiency disease. Person with this deficiency diseases develops weaker bones, causing fracture. Another consequence is that it may lead to delay in wound healing.
Beriberi is vitamin B1 i.e., thiamine deficiency disease. It leads to loss of appetite, difficulty in breathing, paralysis etc.
Night blindness, xeropthalmia, cornea failure and scaly skin are caused due to deficiency of vitamin A i.e., retinol.
