(b) HOw many molecules and atoms are present?

(a) molecular mass = 32 × 8 = 256 g
moles = givenmassmolecularmass = 5.12256 = 0.02

(b) molecules = moles × 6.02×1023 = 0.02 × 6.02×1023 = 0.1204 ×1023
Atoms in 1 molecule = 8
Total number of atoms = 0.1204 ×1023×8 = 0.9632 ×1023
