Say: The number of vanilla and chocolate ice creams is given.

Ask:
What do we have to do here?
Ans: We need to find how many fewer chocolate ice creams are there than vanilla ice creams.

How many vanilla ice creams are there?
Ans: 15

How many chocolate ice creams are there?
Ans: 5

How many fewer chocolate ice creams are there than vanilla ice creams?
Ans: 10

How did you find the answer?
Ans: By subtracting the smaller number, i.e. 5, from the greater number, i.e. 15. We get a difference of 10.
