Solution

The correct option is B 37
Given: y=4t2t2 .....(i)

We know that, vertical displacement of a projectile from the ground is given by,

y=uyt12gpt2

On comparing eqn (i) with above equation, we get uy=4 and gp=4.

Given: x=3t

We know that, horizontal displacement of the projectile is given by,

x=uxt

Comparing with x=3t, we get

ux=3

Now,

tanθ=uyux=43

i.e., Angle of projection (θ) is 53 with horizontal.

Angle of projection of projectile with vertical,

ϕ=(90θ)=(9053)=37

Hence, option (b) is correct.
