Solution

The correct option is D 1m3=1000L
Given, 1 litre = 1000 ml .......... (1)
(ml= millilitre) and 1 ml= 1 cm3 .......... (2)
Substitute (2) in (1) we get,
1 litre = 1000 cm3 ........... (3)
We know that, S.I. unit of volume = m3
Now, we have to find, 1 litre = ? m3
We know,
1 m = 100 cm
(1m)3=(100cm)3
1m3=1000000cm3 ........... (4)
Dividing (3) by (4) we get,
1litre1m3=1000cm31000000cm3
10001000000=11000
1litre1m3=11000
1000litre=1m3 or
1litre=11000m3=103m3
1litre=103m3 or 1m3=103litre
