Energy of an electron, in electron-volt, is,
E2=13.6n22, E1=13.6n21 here n2=2 for second orbit
n1=1 for first orbit

So, E1=13.612=13.6 eV
and, E2=13.622=3.4 eV

As the electron jumps from second to first orbit,
|ΔE|=|E1E2|=hcλ
|10.2|×1.6×1019=6.63×1034×3×108λ

16.32×1019=2×1025λ

λ=1225 ˚A

Hence, (A) is the correct answer.
