We should use tissue paper or a handkerchief while coughing or sneezing. why?

Prevention of airborne diseases:

1. Airborne diseases are those which are caused due to the inhalation of air contaminated with disease-causing pathogens.
2. These germs pass into the air in the form of droplets when a diseased individual sneezes or coughs.
3. These fine droplets remain suspended in the air for quite some time.
4. When a healthy person inhales the infected air, he/she catches the infection and becomes ill.
5. So, using tissue paper or a handkerchief while coughing or sneezing can reduce the chances of such infections.
