What are the different types of chromatography?

1. This technique was introduced by M. S. Tsvet, a Russian botanist in 1906.
2. It is a method based on the difference in the rate of adsorption of various components of a mixture on a suitable adsorbent.
3. This technique involves a mobile phase and a stationary phase.
4. Mobile phase is made to run through the stationary phase.

Types of chromatography:

There are four types of chromatography namely. The stationary phases used in these types of chromatic techniques are different.

2. Column chromatography
3. Thin layer chromatography
4. Gas chromatography
