Open in App
Solution

Viral infection:

  1. It is the infection caused by viruses that are minute particles that consist only of the genetic components like RNA, DNA, and protein in their structure.
  2. They are only considered alive when inside the host as they use host machinery to multiply.

The symptoms of viral infections are as follows:

  1. Fever: It is the rise in temperature of a body when the virus invades as a preventive measure to kill the antigen (virus).
  2. Sore throat: Most viruses lead to infection in the nasopharyngeal pathway that causes itchiness, dryness, and pain in the throat.
  3. Tiredness: When the body's immunity fights against the virus it requires a lot of energy, thereby making the host weak.
