The correct option is C 126
When a Roman numeral with the larger value is on the left, we add the values together and when it is on the right, we subtract the values.

Also, I = 1, V = 5, X = 10 and L = 50.

XXXVII = 10 + 10 + 10 + 5 + 1 + 1
= 37

LXXXIX = 50 +10 + 10 + 10 + (10 - 1 )
= 89

Thus, XXXVII + LXXXIX = 37 + 89 = 126.
