It is a two-inch long narrow passage in the lower part of the uterus.
It allows the passage of mensural bleeding and the sperms to the uterus.
The hormone that dilates the cervix:
Prostaglandins are the lipids that repair tissue after damage and control blood flow in mensuration.
Oxytocin and relaxin also stimulate cervical maturation and dilation.
