2. No single gene is dominant or recessive to other effects of genes are cumulative.
3. Hypertension, coronary heart disease, and diabetes are examples of polygenic conditions.
4. Because such problems need the presence of multiple genes at the same time, they are not as easily inherited as monogenic diseases.
5. Polygenic diseases are more common in humans than monogenic diseases.
