What is meant by lateral inversion of an image in a plane mirror? Explain it with the help of a diagram.
Lateral Inversion:
When an object is positioned in front of a flat mirror, the left side of the image indicates to be the right side of the object, and the left side of the image seems to be the right side of the image. This shifts the sides of an object and its mirror images are known as lateral inversion.
