What is pasteurisation and who discovered it ?

Dear Yashasvika, Louis Pasteur invented Pasteurisation for preservation of milk. Milk is very easily contaminated by action of microorganisms. This can be prevented by heating milk at 70 degree C for 15-30 seconds and then suddenly chilled and stored.
