Type of lysosomes:

  2. Secondary lysosomes: They are also known as digesting vacuoles, are created when primary lysosomes and phagosomes fuse.
  3. Autophagosomes: They are formed by the digestion of intracellular organelles by the process of autophagy.
  4. Residual body: They contain undigested material and are rejected out of the cell by exocytosis.
